Give yourself a present!

Christmas and Hanukkah are over and you've shopped 'til you dropped for everyone else! Now it's time to get yourself a present - a trip to San Diego for the 2016 Wagner 75-80 Reunion!

It's just 6 months away and this chance to see your Wagner pals will be here before you know it. Organizing a reunion of this size is a big undertaking and we're not sure when this will happen again, so take advantage of this rare opportunity to get together with the few people who truly know what it's like to be a military brat and walked the halls with you at Wagner!

One of the great things about past reunions (for me anyway) has been the chance to get to better know many of my classmates that I didn't know well in high school. Or thought I knew, but didn't really. Or realized how we've all gone through a lot in life and are much more appreciative of each other all these years down the road.

So, check out the list of the folks who have either already committed to coming or are very sure they will be there and join us! For those that haven't put in a deposit yet, here's the form to do so.  We have a whole host of people that want to come but are waiting for their schedules to firm up before committing - you know how those pilots are!

If you want to pay in full, we will be having our last drawing Friday, February 19th, 2016, for a free upgrade to a suite for those that do so. All entries must be received by Thursday, February 18th, to be eligible for the drawing.

Click here for the hotel reservations at our fantastic room rate of $149/night for the nights of the reunion. There are no more rooms available for the nights before or after the reunion at our discounted rate.  Don't forget to reserve your room! It costs nothing now and we want to make sure you have one - July is a popular tourist time in San Diego.

The hotel will try to accommodate special requests (please call them directly) and will do their best to try and put people in rooms next to each other if possible, but cannot guarantee that it will happen.

So, what are you waiting for? Get your registration form in to us! If you want to be on our mailing list, send us an email at wagner75.80reunion at gmail dot com. For more information about the hotel and transportation, check out this previous post.

And keep your eyes peeled to this blog for an upcoming t-shirt sale and posting stuff from our archives after the new year.

We hope to see you in San Diego - the Reunion Committee: Gigi Hensley McCombe, Valerie Moore Andrews, Nina Pierce Baker & Teri Self Hamilton.

  1. Just a heads up for anyone going to the San Diego Reunion this year. The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, in its infinite wisdom, charges $29 PER DAY. Yes that is correct - per DAY for parking and that is for paying guests. Parking is uncovered. So add another 60-100 bucks to your budget.

  2. Actually, the reunion committee negotiated a reduced rate for our group of $18/day. Not cheap - but parking is expensive in most downtown cities. There is a complimentary shuttle to and from the airport and the Bay Shuttle runs to downtown for $3/day.
